Hello blogers. For all you blogers out there that have been stopping by my website and leaving comments, including asking me to continue to write for the website and post new articles, I owe a major apology. It’s not that I meant to be undiplomatic and intentionally did not respond to all the comments for the articles my server did not close, but left open for comments; rather it was simply that I did not know I had any comments. Here is the story. Bare with me a bit and I will explain.
I started the website in about 2002 to post position papers for the little group of Shocker Black & Golds that I am a member of, for the reason that our mailing list had grown to over 200 leaders in our community, and it seemed a way to reach more folks without so much mailing cost. But you understand, I myself was not on the internet, I just wrote every thing for the website and then mailed a CD to my server, who then put it up on the internet. Many of you have asked what service did I obtain the format from, or who developed the format for the website. I developed the site with a view that I wanted the site to be simple and straightforward without any bells and whistles, but just straightforward access to the subject matters I was dealing with. Somewhere along the line, I think just to put salve on my wounds and brain damage from Obama and his socialist Marxist turnip patch of plotters, I decided to add a political snippets subject matter to the website. I remember asking my server once if I was getting any responses or comments to the political snippets I was having him post. He told me that I was getting a few requests to advertise on my website, but he didn’t want to mess with it. He did not tell me I had lots of other comments, many of which I should review and respond to. So, until last Sunday when I finally got on the internet myself, and spent 3 ½ hours reviewing the comments to one posted Dec. 17, 2008 article, I never knew I even had any comments. Because of my work load, I probably wouldn’t even be on the internet yet, except the U.S. Federal District Court for the District of Kansas required me to do so, and obtain an e-mail address so that they can send me e-mails to make my life miserable.
Also, I started a major project to fix a car port, that turned into almost a complete redesigned new car port with 6" thick adobe stucco walls, much of the work of which I am doing myself. That project started the last of May and by the first part of June I was so busy that something had to give, so I just had to stop writing political snippets. Not that my heart wanted to, but I just didn’t have the time to get every thing done. I am making major progress, but I still have a lot of stucco and final trim paint work to accomplish, so I am still not able to get back up to speed writing political snippets for my website as before, but now that I know lots of folks look forward to reading them, I will try to put something up now and then until I can get my car port finished.
Now that I have started “surfing” the internet myself, I find it quickly addictive. I will probably have to take the cure for a while until I can get my car port finished.
Once again, please accept my apologies. I meant no harm or disrespect, but just didn’t know I had any comments to respond to.
