“THEY PRETEND TO PAY US, AND WE PRETEND TO WORK.” Probably the most telling Russian folk quote of the old USSR; back in the days before Reagan deposited the old USSR on the ash heap of history. It’s called the economic man motive principle. If you are old as dirt as this writer and remember college back when universities and their professors were still teaching true principles – as opposed to today’s brain dead liberal lemming professors – back in the 1960's; perhaps you will remember Economics 101, and the fundamental economic man motive principle as the engine of capitalism. The communist socialist centrally controlled command economic system has never worked everywhere it has been tried. When you kill the economic man motive, you kill the incentive to work harder to provide more for yourself and your family. There is an upper limit upon taxes that occurs naturally as a function of the economic man motive. When a man is taxed to the point that his incentive for gain is so marginal and small, if at all, that it no longer makes sense to work harder, he will shortly decide to sit down, enjoy his life the best he can, and let someone else work for their own keep. Sooner or later, the government will find that no matter how much they raise taxes, revenues to the government will decrease. Nor is there no limit to the amount of paper money the government can print. Sooner or later the dollar will inflate and lose value so that our debt will not be purchased even by the Chi-coms. When the government can’t meet its debt obligations, can’t print enough money to cover the money it is spending, and money the folks on the dole are getting from the government won’t buy enough for their needs because the prices have escalated just due to the inflation from printing more paper money, without any corresponding increase in the economy; then the whole economy will come crashing down. And, in the process, our pension funds that we worked for, saved, and grew over our entire work life history, will be mostly worthless. Thank you comrade Obama.
But you socialist say the government can always just assign folks to jobs and make them go work at least for just enough food to keep themselves alive. In short, a form of slavery, and an absolute loss of freedom. Yes, but most folks aren’t totally dumb, and hence: “THEY PRETEND TO PAY US, AND WE PRETEND TO WORK.” Moreover, those shovel ready jobs may just become shovel ready, and the government might make those folks on the dole pick up a shovel and go dig a ditch somewhere just to get their food stamps. Can you even imagine the revolution that would cause?
Remember after being deposited upon the ash heap of history by Reagan, while the Russians didn’t come to Jesus, they at least found what they called “glasnost” [the policy or practice of more open consultative government and wider dissemination of information] and parastroka [sp?], and the Chi-coms went to a capitalist system economically and trashed their communist centrally controlled command economy, while maintaining their communist dictatorship politically.
These socialist systems of economics were so wonderful that Obama and his turnip patch of socialist plotters are in their infinite wisdom now attempting: to emulate the great USSR and Chi-com failed economic systems, tried and proven failures of over 50 years duration, from which even the Russians have not fully recovered; and turn the great capitalist system of economic man motive and the inventive genius of the American people in their freedom in the United States, that created the greatest general wealth and economy the world has ever seen; into another socialist utopia: “THEY PRETEND TO PAY US, AND WE PRETEND TO WORK.”
Speaking of those shovel ready manure projects, or was it shovel manure ready projects, or maybe it was manure shovel ready projects; oh well, you get the idea; none of which ever came to fruition, for the reason that Obama used the so-called stimulus bill funds as a giant slush fund to reward and pay off his campaign supporters and union contributors. Moveover.org George Soros got payed off with a few billion worth of tax payer money for his Brazilian Oil Company. And, the Middle East Arab Muslims apparently got their reportedly 400 million illegal campaign contributions paid back in quid pro quo deals and Obama attacks upon Israel.
I don’t have much to say about this Tiger Woods soap opera media and press fascination (as I haven’t paid any attention to it), except to observe that in his liberal if it feels good do it philosophy, Woods seems to have converted himself from the worlds best golfer into the worlds best known porn star.
The media and the press owns Obama. He is their guy. They put him in office with their professional constitutional watch dog duty malfeasance, and they are now vested in his survival. They got in bed and impregnated the woman, selling their liberal souls to socialism in the process, and they are now obligated for the support. Obama now having unveiled his socialist Marxist plans for fundamentally changing American government and society, has also unveiled the national media and press and their bigoted liberal bias they have always denied, in their support and continued support notwithstanding the unveiling. The price the media and press is paying is the loss of revenue. The press circulations nationally are going down. They are laying off hundreds of employees. The media is losing viewership and therefore advertising revenue. But these brain dead liberal administrators in the media and the press don’t care about their companies as much as they care about their liberal dedication. They will drive their companies that make their liberal dedication possible, into oblivion. The reason for this irrational conduct of the media and the press is evidenced by one of my most favorite Winston Churchill thoughts I have quoted before, thus:

The media and the press have failed, and continue to fail, in their constitutional watch dog duties, and they now constitute a pestilence that no one needs to pay for, or expend their time with.
Chris Mathews, that flame throwing radical who scorches the earth with his invective, is a sleuth-hound motor mouthed statist media racketeer [defined by my Oxford English Dictionary as: “A noun. A person participating in or operating a dishonest or illegal business, frequently practicing fraud, extortion, intimidation, or violence transf. a person who uses illegitimate means to achieve a quick result.”], hot on the trail of Rush Limbaugh for the unpardonable liberal sin of referring to Obama and his turnip patch of socialist Marxist plotters, as “the regime”. Roget’s International Thesaurus lists similar words for regime as: government, rule, reign, control, mastery, command, power, domination, the government, the authorities, the powers that be, etc. Clearly, Obama and the libs are “ruling” and “controlling” against the will of the vast majority of the people, by use of unconstitutional back room deals and bribes in violation of Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution’s prohibition against Bribery. They are however governing commensurate with the socialist Fascist brain dead desires of Chris Mathews. Mathews rails against Rush for using the term “the regime”, as that “walrus under water”. The listener is left to guess at what manner of insult hog jawed Mathews intends. As pointed out by Rush: While Mathews himself used the term regime previously against republicans; as against Rush, he said in his infinite experience he had never heard an American administration called a regime. And, both the N.Y. Times and the Washington Post dozens of times in the past have used the term regime referring to republican administrations. But you see, Mathews motor mouth can drivel his invective knowing that he will be protected and not criticized no matter what he says, by his liberal comrades in the media and the press.
