RE: Political Snippets
Say, wouldn’t you just know it. That black government lady Brown who demonstrated without doubt that she was a racist, is now under the full liberal protection of the status national so called news media and scribbling press. When her story is reported now, it isn’t the truth that she made racist comments, it’s the fiction that all she did was make “boggling” comments. And having converted racist comments into “boggling” comments, we can all now just let it pass as a inadvertent momentary mind hiccup. Isn’t it just wonderful how the status news media and scribbling press will scurrilously defame and trash any republican or conservative for the slightest liberally perceived – “you can’t say that because we don’t want to hear it no matter how true it is” – while they will intellectually dishonestly shield and protect any brain dead liberal’s racist comments or publically damaging brain dead comments emanating from their liberal brethren, to wit: plugs Biden, Teleprompter Obama, botox Pelosi, scrambled boxer brain Reid, no brain Boxer herself, and generally, any liberal dim in the Congress. November is coming and without doubt if we want to save our country and our freedom, we need to de-power these Constitutional terrorists, and vote them all out of office.
Have you noticed lately, that Obama’s Teleprompter writer has got himself into a do loop, and can’t come up with any reasoned sculpturing of the English language. Over and over, incessantly, Obama is reading from his Teleprompter:
“I will not rest until _______ [you fill in the blank].
In the interim I will be on vacation after vacation after vacation. But I will not rest until ______ ,ad nauseam.”
Here in the 4th district of Kansas, Raj Goyle, the Washington funded democrat is running for the House of Representatives vacated seat previously held by Todd Tiahrt. The day after the primary he started running his first TV add alleging the support of the military for “his state bill re Fred Phelps picketing of military funerals” – in fact a bill that he was not the major sponsor of. In the commercial is 3 or 4 military men standing behind Goyle, presented as independently providing military support of Goyle. You see, Goyle’s opponent is republican Mike Pompeo, who graduated 1st in his class from the U.S. Military Academe, and Goyle desperately needs to try to appeal to military votes, as while they are trying, the democrats may not be able to constrain absentee votes of military folks overseas sufficiently to keep them from counting in the general election. In the commercial, the one military man that speaks the most in support of Goyle, is a local democrat politician Woody Thompson, who ran twice against Bonnie Huy for her state house seat and lost, and has run for other offices and lost also. And, if it is not Woody Thompson, presented as an independent military man, it is at least his identical twin brother. The fact that Goyle would have to use a life long activist democrat politician with some military background, presented as an independent military supporter of his election, says more about Goyle’s willingness to pull the wool over folks in the 4th district eyes, and to intellectually dishonestly misrepresent his independent military support, than it does even about the degree of egregious misrepresentation itself.
Lora Bush, nice lady that she is, makes a public statement that is perhaps the only statement the status national media would publicize, that we should all give the Obama’s a break for a while and quit criticizing them. Does she not understand that our Constitutional government and our freedom is a stake. We can no longer live with these Constitutional terrorist and if we want to save our country and freedoms, we all have to not only come out in November and vote them out of office, but we need to spread the word of their traitorous and egregious behavior at every opportunity. This is not a Sunday social or a picnic. The very existence of our country and its capitalist system as we have known it for 223 years, to the great benefit of society, both in the U.S. and worldwide, is on the line. This is not a time for normal social discourse and etiquette. Nor have the liberal dims in recent history ever demonstrated any such normal social discourse and etiquette. Mrs. Bush needs to stifle it, and go quietly back to the Crawford ranch, like her long suffering husband from liberal dim and status national media and scribbling press Bush bashing, and quit giving aid and comfort to these Constitutional terrorist liberals. This is unmitigated war with our country at stake. And if she doesn’t, folks of like mind as I, will quit making contributions to the Bush Presidential Library.
Once in a while one runs across an insight from the past that is directly applicable to the present. Some 100 years ago in the book “54-40 or Fight”, by Emerson Hough, Copyright in 1909, and published by Grosset & Dunlap, New York, in Chapter XXIV entitled “The Whoa-Haw Trail”, the author describes the Oregon Trail and the Americans who created and traveled it to establish the Oregon territory as part of the United States vis-a-vis the contested claim of England, thus:
“I saw the soul of that canvas – a splendid resolution – a look forward, a purpose, an aim to be attained at no counting of cost. I say, as I gazed at that canvas, I saw in it the columns of my own people moving westward across the land, fierce-eyed, fearless, doubting nothing, fearing nothing. That was the genius of America when I myself was young. I believe it still to be the spirit of a triumphant democracy,.... At this time, the new railroad from Baltimore extended no farther westward than Cumberland,... but at length I found myself upon the frontier which then marked the eastern extremity of the Oregon Trail....
“The old trail to Oregon was laid out by no government, arranged by no engineer, planned by no surveyor, supported by no appropriation. It sprang, a road already created, from the earth itself, covering two thousand miles of country. Why? Because there was need for that country to be covered by such a trail at such a time. Because we needed Oregon. Because a stalwart and clear-eyed democracy needs America and will have it. That was the trail over which our people outran their leaders. If our leaders trifle again, once again we shall outrun them.
“... it was even then a distinct and unmistakable path. The earth has never had nor again can have its like. If it was a path of destiny, if it was a road of hope and confidence, so was it a road of misery and suffering and sacrifice; for thus has the democracy always gained its difficult and lasting victories. I think that it was there, somewhere, on the old road to Oregon, sometime in the silent watches of the prairie or the mountain night, that there was fought out the battle of the Old World and the New, the battle between oppressors and those who declared they no longer would be oppressed... Our men got their beliefs from no leaders, political or editorial, at home or abroad. ...so I saw begin that vast and splendid movement across our continent which in comparison dwarfs all the great people movement of the earth....
“At that time there was not west of the Missouri River any one who could administer an oath, who could execute a legal document, or perpetuate any legal testimony; yet with us the law marched pari passu across the land. We had leaders chosen because they were fit to lead, and leaders who felt full sense of responsibility to those who chose them....
“At the head of our column, we bore the flag of our Republic. On our flanks were skirmishers, like those guarding the flanks of an army. It was an army – an army of our people. With us marched women. With us marched home. That was the difference between our cavalcade and that slower and more selfish one, made up of men alone, which that same year was faring westward along the upper reaches of the Canadian Plains. That was why we won. It was because women and plows were with us....
“Loosely connected, independent, individual, none the less already we were establishing a government. We took the American Republic with us across the Plains! ....
“A church marched with us as well as the law and courts; and, what was more, the schools went also; for by the faint flicker of the firelight many parents taught their children each day as they moved westward to their new homes. History shows these children were well taught. There were persons of education and culture with us....
“Regularly the Sabbath day was observed by at least the most part of our pilgrims....
“So we marched, mingled, and, as some might have said, motley in our personnel – sons of some of the best families in the South, men from the Carolinas and Virginia, Georgia and Louisiana, men from Pennsylvania and Ohio; Roundhead and Cavalier, Easterner and Westerner, Germans, Yankees, Scotch-Irish – all Americans. We marched, I say, under a form of government; yet each took his original marching orders from his own soul... But we marched, each obeying the orders of his own soul. Some day the song of this may be sung; some day, perhaps, its canvas may be painted.
[today is as good as any, as it is needed for reminder of our heritage and duty].
“TWENTY miles a day, week in and week out we edged westward up the Platte, in heat and dust part of the time, often plagued at night by clouds of mosquitoes. Our men endured the penalties of the journey without comment. I do not recall that I ever heard even the weakest woman complain. Thus we all reached the South Pass of the Rockies, not yet half done our journey,....
“Gaunt and brown and savage, hungry and grim, ragged, hatless, shoeless, our cavalcade closed up and came on, and so at last came through. Ere autumn had yellowed all the foliage back east in gentler climes, we crossed the shoulders of the Blue Mountains and came into the Valley of the Walla Walla; and so passed thence down the Columbia to the Valley of the Willamette, three hundred miles yet farther, where there were then some slight centers of our civilization which had gone forward the year before....
“There were churches and schools already started, and a beginning had been made in government....
“As a matter of fact, ultimately we won that transcontinental race so decidedly that there never was admitted to have been a second.
“As for our people, they knew how neither to hesitate nor to dread. They unhooked their oxen from the wagons and put them to the plows. The fruit trees, which had crossed three ranges of mountains and two thousand miles of unsettled country, now found new rooting... Whatever the future might bring those who had come so far and dared so much feared that future no more than they had feared the troubles which in detail they had overcome in their vast pilgrimage.
“So we took Oregon by the only law of right.” P.242-255.
We are the descendants of our forefathers of the WHOA-HAW TRAIL and the like before them. We have an inherited duty to protect their efforts in establishing our country and our government. We own the government, not Obama or his turnip patch of socialist Marxist politburo of Constitutional terrorists. “If our leaders trifle again, once again we shall outrun them.” November will shortly be here and all patriotic Americans need to do their duty and vote out of office these liberal dims that can not be trusted with power, and are about the process of stealing our government and our freedoms.
