The Eagle’s Attack Dog Davis Merritt is at it Again
• From his retirement abode with apparently nothing to do but chafe at the failure of Barack Hussein Obama to garner any significant traction with the general public, scribbler Merritt launches his vitriolic attack against the enemy. And who pray tell is the perceived enemy: “that ignores the long-term damage that a win-at-any-cost credo does to democracy”? Why none other, we are led to believe, than that dastardly, villainous, treacherous, piece of political trash, liar, Republican, Karl Rove. And what unforgivable sin is it that Karl Rove has accomplished, that causes such an evidenced volcanic eruption of absolute hate from our former Eagle scribbler / still want-to-be scribbler Merritt? Turns out his sin, in Merritt’s view, is that he is credited with winning two elections for republicans. And of course, Merritt leads us to believe that his own petrified mind quisling liberal democrat politicians, were pure as the driven snow, and deserved to win the elections and would have won the elections, but for the criminal tactics and lies of Karl Rove.
• Well, lets see what the evidence is Merritt offers as absolute proof of his diatribe of hate. First says Merritt:
“From the people who gave us the lowest-rated president in the history of opinion polling, now comes John McCain the Angry, replacing John McCain the Reasonable.”
I guess Merritt longs for the good old days of Jimmy Carter and 18 percent interest rates and the advent of the misery index of Jimmy Carter in the 20's, consisting of the interest rate coupled with the cost of living index. Of course, “lowest-rated” is unexplained, but means: lowest-rated by Merritt’s friendly liberal polls. You all know how the liberals intellectually dishonestly conduct their polls. They call up less than 1000 folks nationally, and then tell us that the results represent the opinion of the entire 300 million Populus of the United States. And, I suspect, they don’t just randomly call up 1000 folks. They have identified and know who the liberals are from their past calls, and so they initially start calling up say 60 percent liberals and 40 percent randomly selected numbers. If the poll is going like they want it to go, they continue on. But if not, they ratchet up the percentage of liberals they are calling until they get the approximate results they are looking for. I personally have been called before and asked if I would take 5 minutes to answer a national survey on political issues. I answered in the affirmative. The first question was: How would you describe yourself: white, black, Indian, Asian, etc. I said I was white. The second question was: How old are you, with five categories of 10 year ranges with the last category given as over a particular age. I gave the correct category. The third question was: How would you describe yourself: Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian. I said I was a conservative republican. The pollster said: “Thank You”, and hung up. My opinion was deemed – apparently because I advised I was a conservative republican – not to be consistent with the results the pollster was seeking, so I was never given the political questions and obviously never appeared in the results of the poll in any fashion. So, from that personal experience, I would never give any credence to polling, particularly from Merritt’s liberal newspaper polls, news organization polls, or news organization sponsored polls. I am of the opinion that they pay for results they want, and manipulate to the results they want, in order to thereafter use the results to try to herd public opinion to their desired view.
• But says Merritt since Karl Rove’s involvement with the McCain campaign:
“American voters have been treated like the idiots that Rovians believe they are.”
So now Merritt’s hatred is expanded to a category of “Rovians”, by which we are entitled to understand Merritt means anyone who probably considers himself to be a republican. And, we are to know “Rovians” is a bad thing; its name calling pure and simply, with the presumption of guilt ipsit ripsit rexit flaxit, simply because Merritt is willing to tell us so. It is in reality the liberal Merrittites grifting their muddled misthought, confusion, and disjuncted prattle, coupled with their control of the lemming drive-by media and scribblers, that treat the public like “idiots”, and dishonestly swindle and cheat the language and any attempt at reasoned discourse of issues; that is precisely the reason why our country presently has so much difficulty solving even simple problems for which solutions readily exist.
• Recently Barack Obama opined that if we all would just properly put air in our tires, and get a tune-up for our cars that haven’t required turn-ups since car computers in 1988 et seq. it would equal all the drilling for oil we could accomplish. What a miserable drivel of nonsense. And this from a man who want’s to be the leader of the free world - president of the United States of America.
Obama appears to be the potential second coming of Jimmy Carter. It’s a Carterian type and magnitude statement akin to Carter’s: “put on a sweater” and “I was attack by a rabbit while I was minding my own business just rowing my boat”, but luckily he managed to fight off the attack and make it back to shore just in time to save America with 18 percent interest rates and a soaring misery index. Just Merritt’s type of president who he contends wasn’t the lowest-rated president in the history of opinion polling – or for that matter, the world. And that of course was because Carter was a certified brain dead democrat supported by Merritt’s quisling liberal scribblers, and the lemming drive-by media Teleprompter readers.
As to the substance of the tire pressure revelation from the Messiah, it presupposes no one presently has proper air pressure in their tires. So how many cars is he talking about? And where is it did he obtain the statistical data and information of how many tires do not have proper air pressure, etc.? But the very next day – with no time for even a poll – a quisling liberal scribbler grifter, swindling and cheating the language and reasoned discourse of issues, attempted to come to the rescue of their anointed Messiah, and claimed if we all aired up our tires it would save 3 to 4 percent of our national gas consumption. No citation for authority of how many tires would have to be aired up; what average air pressure increase would be required; what delta friction coefficients would have to be assumed; what delta coefficients of drag would have to be assumed for the various sizes of tires in use; how many tires of each such category of tire there are, and how many such tires need air; what average speed for each category of tire is to be used, and how that average speed was calculated or assumed; how many miles would be driven for each category of tire; et cetera, et cetera, ad nauseam. Nor is there any evidence that the Obama bail out scribbler is an aeronautical engineer or otherwise knowledgeable of the necessary equations involved; with the ability to handle the equations even if he knew all of the various variable and order of magnitude parameters for those variables. Nor did he cite any authority for his assertion, other than his own ipse dixit authority. But the bare scribbler assertion was immediately picked up by the scribblers of his profession and repeated to exonerate and excuse Obama’s brain hick-up as if such muddled misthought was the truth and law everyone recognizes and agrees with. And, by the very next day Obama was quoting the scribbler as if he was Moses just down from the mountain, and calling those who had the unmitigated audacity to questioned him: “ignorant”. Just what the country needs for a president, and particularly for a president who needs to be able to suffer criticism and solve serious problems that includes compromise with opponents. As president, it would not seem to be appropriate or beneficial to getting anything done, to call criticism and his opponents “ignorant”. If any republican had made the identical Obama statements, the scribblers and Teleprompter readers would have crucified him as having certified by the statements that he was unfit to even run for president of the United States.
• Recently Obama in a public speech said:
“I ain’t heard anyone making the argument ...”
And with such exhibited street command of the use of the English language he has anointed himself as “citizen of the world”; the next coming: “I am the one”; and thinks he should be the next president of the United States and supreme representative of the people. Of course, he is Merritt’s man. If elected, the return of the misery index could not be far behind.
• And of course, its “puzzling” to Merritt [liberals are always “puzzled” and “troubled” when they disagree with other folks], and Karl Rove’s involvement is evidence that: for McCain “desperation apparently set in” [notwithstanding Obama has no traction; is melting away into oblivion, as more and more folks understand his lack of mental substance and that his main attribute is that he is a good Teleprompter reader; and with that attribute he should be reading the nightly news on television, not running for president of the united states after 142 days of Senate experience, upon significant portions of which he voted “present”, or in the alternative, one of the most extreme liberal socialist views of issues in the Senate]; and that McCain is resorting to ugly democrat tactics of fear and distortion [such as: if fill in the blank republican is elected, black churches will burn]. Well, he didn’t say democrat – but you get the point. There is a difference between legitimate criticism and ugly tactics of fear and distortion.
• No one on the republican side has said Obama is responsible for high gas prices, but that doesn’t stop Merritt from making the “ugly tactic” assertion that McCain wants people to believe that. Now Merritt is reading McCain’s mind, putting words in his mouth, and making him say what Merritt wants him to say. It’s an ugly Merritt strawman tactic of distortion, because he has no defense to the real issue of Obama’s putting air in tires statement, and is just trying to divert attention and change the argument to give him something to talk about. If Merritt doesn’t have the facts to make the argument, why he just puts up the strawman and makes it anyway, and asserts that from his own infinite wisdom, that is what McCain wants people to believe.
The truth is Obama is not responsible for the calamitous high price of gas, and republicans have not said so – although liberals and their brain dead policy of allowing no drilling where the oil is at, is responsible; but his alleged total solution of just putting air in tires, is as stated above, miserably deficient, no solution at all, and more importantly, absolute evidence of a deficient mind and lack of mental maturity and qualification for even running for president of the United States. But Merritt can’t talk about that obvious issue, so he just changes the subject at issue and makes up a strawman for McCain, and argues in defense of Obama against his own self asserted strawman McCain statement.
And, Obama, in fact, disrespected wounded soldiers by changing his plans to visit a hospital, so that he could go play basketball. Merritt doesn’t bother to tell his readers the basketball part, as if he did folks would agree that Obama in fact “dissed” the wounded U.S. Soldiers in the hospital, in favor of playing basketball. And, it’s legitimate criticism to say so.
Just what we need for president. If playing basketball is qualification for president of the United States, maybe the democrats should just get on with nominating Michael Jordan as the democrat candidate for president of the United States.
To assert that Obama would rather lose the war in Iraq in order to appeal to his base to win the nomination of the democrats and attempt to win the election; is a fair assertion based upon Obama’s then position that he would bring our soldiers home forthwith notwithstanding the conditions on the ground; which position he has now flip-flopped and crawfished on, although one would suspect Merritt has not. Whether it is war or the economy, liberals are unpatriotic and un-American, particularly when it is they do not hold the political power of the presidency. They would rather lose the war against terrorism and its threat to our cities and Populus, and drive our economy into calamitous affects upon the citizenry; than to allow the inverse benefit of these issues to accrue to our country, the president and the republicans.
And, the Britney Spears-Paris Hilton spoof and parody was justified given Obama’s appeal to the Ludicrous crowd.
• Merritt is profoundly incensed that the republicans would have the audacity to make a political commercial clever enough to cause the networks to air it free “gratis hundreds of times” without the republicans having to pay for it. God forbid such treacherous ugly tactics. It’s winning at any cost. It causes “long term” damage to “democracy”. But when the scribblers and the Teleprompter readers follow Obama all over the world with free campaign advertising, and the New York Times publishes Obama’s submitted articles while refusing to publish McCain’s, why Merritt is quiet as a church mouse and nowhere to be heard screaming profoundly incensed at the injustice of the liberal media and scribblers free gratis campaign advertising for Obama. Merritt is clearly a liberal protagonist with selective indignation.
• Concludes Merritt:
“It’s a tragedy that McCain has put his character and reputation in the hands of such people. Americans deserve more insight and respect form someone who seeks to lead them.”
For the liberal Merrittites of the world, they would rather have someone like Barack Hussein Obama to lead them, who shows great insight, and respect for Merrittites’ intelligence; like for example, quoth he:
“America is no longer what it could be”
Say what! This great example of insight from Obama, exhibits a certain co-mingled assortment of a randomly disjuncted set of words, and idea presented as passing for reason; such that you wonder if he has said anything at all.
• Is there any doubt of why our society presently has so much difficulty in solving even simple problems, when the liberal scribblers and drive-by Teleprompter readers are only capable of creating in civil discourse, a vitriolic quagmire of muddled misthought and confusion, and miserably disjuncted prattle. Davis Merritt is profoundly concerned with the health of democracy, as long as it is his petrified mind liberal version of democracy, and it is only his prattling that is advised to the voting public. Republicans are not entitled to speak to the voting public, and legitimately criticize democrats, if Merrittites disagree with what they say. If Merritt’s vitriolic hit piece personal attack on Karl Rove had any merit, that folks wanted to read, and it doesn’t; the Eagle might get folks attention and eventually start selling more papers. Instead, the Eagle uses the Eagle’s money, 55 gallon barrels of ink, and dwindling circulation, to continue its liberal vitriolic scribbling in an attempt to spoon feed and herd the voting public to their brain dead petrified mind liberal views, all because their anointed messiah is rapidly self destructing and exhibiting for all reasonable folks to see, that he is not close to being mentally qualified to be president of the United States. Is there any wonder why the Eagle has trouble selling its papers and continues to see its circulation dwindle.
