• Sometimes it is worthwhile to step back from the substance of the issues, and just generally reflect upon the ground rules you are confronted with.
If Dr. Beggs would ever write anything or speak to the substance of the issues, we could have a reasoned debate to the benefit of all concerned. But he steps around the issues, and steps wide of Shocker Black & Golds on the issues. Why is it do you suspect that is so?
Dr. Beggs is an administrative education politician, and he is polished at it. Administrative education types carry the English language as a tool for communication. They learn to use it fairly well. Sometimes they become pretty good at it. But they are still smiley communication types, who don’t say it out plain; but instead talk all around the substance of the issues in a fashion to maintain subsequent deniability that they said anything at all, and even then not publicly to more than one or two people at a time. By profession, I’m a conservative lawyer. You know what a conservative lawyer is? He’s a verbal dissector and destroyer of defective arguments, and pleader of the case. He carries the English language as a weapon. Words are his ammunition. He factually assimilates the subject matter, and honestly reasons deductively to solutions to problems as reasonably suggested by the facts, and then carefully chooses cogent descriptive words to optimize the effective pleading of the case. That, and application of the law, is what a lawyer’s job calls for, liberal or conservative. There are nicer ways to put it, but in substance, it all reads out the same. Education communication types might be quicker on the draw with education speak words, and high sounding intellectual rationale, and in their own isolated forum they are unchallenged emperors subject to absolute power that tends to absolutely corrupt; but lawyers have the ability if they choose, to use the language as a weapon, figuratively pull down their shorts and expose them, verbally shoot them in the heart, and destroy their postured positions, so that their statements and positions will be substantively wounded just the same and notwithstanding their abilities and emperorship positions.
Dr. Beggs knows that, and that is why he will not allow himself to publicly speak to the substance of the issues and his positions he knows he can’t defend, and in face of the exposure he knows will thereafter occur. So Dr. Beggs’ effective double taxation of Sedgwick County residents continues on unabated without comment – at least for the time being.
• Say, have you been following the latest liberal attempt at mental gymnastic defining deviancy down episode, with New York Democrat Governor Eliot Spitzer? It’s a fine example of the distinction between mental prostitution and physical prostitution. It’s the liberal physical philosophy that if it feels good, do it. It’s the liberal mental philosophy that the desired ends justify the means and rationale to get there. The exhibited rationale of the trotted out liberal democrat in support of Governor Spitzer, was that: it’s alright for the Governor to partake of actual prostitution upon the rationale that there isn’t the degree of brains in the involved organ as there is in one’s head, so it’s justified notwithstanding as Governor you legally and morally represent the entire population of New York state. You see, if you can be said to have some brains in your physical organ, then you can’t be responsible for its actions, and you, have nothing to do with it. It’s a variety of the liberal rationale that a stiff organ has no conscience. Only a liberal would argue that there are brains located in the male organ. The argument, if you can call it that, is no more than disingenuous intellectually challenged mindless prattle. It makes one remember our similarly challenged miserable president Clinton parsing words and defining deviancy down in the process of liberal democrat mental masturbation. It wasn’t sex because he didn’t ... well, you get the idea. “I never had sex with that woman, not one time.” “It all depends upon what the definition of is, is.” But in the end, whether a liberal democrat President or just a liberal Governor of New York, when you legally and morally represent the public, your character and integrity are at issue, and reflect upon the public. You need to do your duty, at least while you are in office, and abstain from your deviant ways. But then what can you expect, liberals on the whole are undisciplined, intellectually challenged, and consistently of the view that whatever issue or position they want, is justified by the rationale that the ends justify whatever mental masturbation it takes to get there.
